Great Kundalini Yoga Class Video….
I did this 30 minute Kundalini Yoga video this morning and feel revitalised and refreshed. It’s excellent for beginners and anyone can take part….
Confidence Building Exercise for you…..
I told someone to do this recently and then thought it would be worth sharing. Here goes…..
So when you have some quiet time, go to a mirror and look into your own eyes. It will feel strange at first and that’s ok. Look deep into your eyes at yourself and say ” I Am Fine. All Is Well. I’m doing great. “
Even if you are not, keep doing this and keep saying this. What you are doing is actually placing your intention o f this happening. When you place your attention like this, from your heart, with genuine feelings, it happens.
Try to do this as often as you can. Eventually the weirdness will pass and you will start feeling more confident and comfortable with you.
A Simple Task For You Today…….
Do something you love to do and do it with a smile.
Me? I wrote some uplifting pieces of work that I will share with you all soon. It’s not completely finished yet. I love to write and I really was smiling as I did it because it came from my heart.
Taking Action Head On In A Bid To Free You From Your Mind…….
Try to do something today that you have been putting off, procrastinating about or just plain avoiding. Push through whatever was holding you back in an effort to liberate yourself from the nagging in your head, telling you that you need to do this one thing!
I had a pile of paperwork dating back a couple of months that could no longer be ignored. I have often thought about doing it. In the last few days, I was antagonising myself to do it.
Today, I said to myself I wasnt going to do that. I was going to deal with this.
So the first thing I did after breakfast was to deal with all of this paperwork.
It feels nice. I no longer have to look at it and my mind is no longer nagging me.
Simple but liberating.
What will your action be?
It’s all about your perspective…..
As I am getting older and wiser, I am realising that all situations are really about how you perceive them. You have a real choice to look at things in one of a multitude of ways.
I call this 7 spectrum thinking because I always think there are usually at least 7 ways of looking at one scenario…..just as when you look into a 7 spectrum prism, you see 7 beautiful colours.
For example, I hate my job can also be seen as:
- I get paid so that I can eat, have shelter and the luxuries I have
- I have a job – there are many who do not and are struggling
- I have some nice friends at work
- I am appreciated by Joanne in Finance – she always thanks me for delivering my report in time
- I make people in my office smile at least once a day
- I’m utilising my education, gifts, talents etc and being challenged
- This job is giving me the experience I need to enhance in my career
So the next time you find yourself speaking negatively about someone or something, think to yourself that there is another way, in fact there are several other ways. In doing so, you lighten the burden on your heart and get a little closer to inner peace.
Beautiful quote delivered by the wonderful Brahma Kumaris – http://www.brahmakumaris.org
Leave worries aside and you will be surprised by the beauty of the sky and the colour of flowers, of the freshness of the breeze and the generosity of the sun. You will feel you are part of creation, and life will start to make sense. The greatest wealth is to appreciate what we have and what we are.
And here are some images I took whilst doing just that in Richmond Park – my favourite place.
Finish this sentance……
I love the way I ………………………
Mine? Oh – I love the way I always try to help people where ever I can. What’s yours?
Courage….
Today, I’m going to dig deep within myself and allow courage to lead me. I’m not afraid. I will not succumb to fear. I am empowered.
Kindness…..
From the http://www.bkwsu.org
Kindness in words creates confidence.
Kindness in thinking creates profoundness.
Kindness in giving creates love.
For those of you who dont know about EFT or Emotional Freedom Tapping, it is something that has been around for quite a while now. The process is basically where you tap your meridien points to release blockages that you may have gained along the way. It can also be described as releasing energy that no longer serves you. The blockages are cleared and the passageway to your prosperity can begin.
I have been following Brad Yates and doing some of the video’s below. Brad has many but these are just a few I picked. If this looks interesting, look him up. His YouTube channel has hundreds of video’s.
It’s not for everyone but take a look and if you like it, tap along. Personally, I find it encouraging and uplifting. I always feel better after a session.
Let me know how you got on.
