“I believe that we live at a very crucial moment in humanity’s transformation and I want you to move beyond the old paradigm and discover your power, your freedom.

I believe we are at a point of such transformation that we can no longer wait for someone else, or something else. I believe that we are creators and that everyone here is equal and part of that creation. I believe that God doesn’t live somewhere outside, that the Divine, meaning intelligence, freedom, is everywhere. You, me, we are connected.

I believe that we have to put things into practice. We can’t just sit and watch television or watch life, or watch a relationship and hope it gets better or wait for it to change.

I challenge you to step away from the sofa, where it is comfortable to watch TV, and to participate. It is a wonderful thing when we realize that we have this power, which is not of the ego, but is wisdom.”

Self Empowerment by David Childerley….

My good friend Asare sent me this clip to view. I loved it. David is an amazing person with great perspective and he’s very logical. I have visited his website and signed up for newsletters and videoclips. I’ll keep you posted.

This clip is one of a whole series so it is worth doing a bit of digging and seeing what David has to say. I agreed with everything he says in this clip.

Thought for the Day……..

As usual from the Brahma Kumaris:

Happiness is a daily decision

And oh boy…………………have I realised this recently. Even people like me fall off track now and again. It’s only when I go back and see how much I have grown and what tools I have gathered along the way, that I realise that I am only human. Just because I am spiritually aware, doesnt mean I wont be touched by hardship and problems. I have re-learned to be happy and kind in these last few months – something I had come to forget as I began to get swallowed up in all of my problems. This is a superficial life – I am here to learn and evolve. I know that now.

Intuition In Action

 www.bkwsu.orgThe Secret To Understanding

Have you ever had a hunch that something was about to  happen and to your surprise, it did?

Have you ever had ‘gut feelings’, a strong sense of ‘knowing’ that something was true without a specific reason but you ended up
being right?  That’s your intuition.

No matter what it’s called, intuition plays a part in our lives everyday.  Your intuition ‘knows’ what you need and what to do.

access your intuition, feel, hear and see intuitively
Follow your gut feeling with more confidence:

A Lesson In Life…………

I found this on www.indianchild.com. This site is full of some lovely quotes but I particularly liked this one and could relate to it:

A Lesson in Life

Everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens by chance or by means of good or bad luck. Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of your soul. Without these small tests, if they be events, illnesses or relationships, life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to nowhere.  If someone hurts you, betrays you , or breaks you heart, forgive them. For they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious to who you open your heart to.

If someone loves you, love them back unconditionally, not only because they love you, but because they are teaching you to love and opening your heart and eyes to things you would have never seen or felt without them.

Make every day count. Appreciate every moment and take from it everything that you possibly can, for you may never be able to experience it again.

Talk to people you have never talked to before, and actually listen. Hold your head up because you have every right to. Tell yourself you are a great individual and believe in yourself, for if you don’t believe in yourself, no one else will believe in you either.

You can make of your life anything you wish. Create your own life and then go out and live it.

Another Great Piece by Mike George – RETURN TO THE CENTRE……

www.relax7.comSo much of this made sense to me. I am going to try Mike’s recommendation on living at the centre of the wheel. I hope I’m patient enough to see the results. I really support Mike’s work. The more I read, the more sense it all seems to make. I guess he is at the right level as a Teacher for me personally to learn. He is certainly thought provoking for me but with lots of agreement.

Here is an excerpt but as always…..

 Return to the Centre

From the mysteries of time (last week) comes the conundrum of life. Do we journey through life or does life journey through us? Or both. Are you the driver or the hitchhiker? Or both. Are you the traveller or the witness? Or both. Are you on the stage or in the audience? Or both. Do YOU move or are you moved? Or neither!

Such questions have plagued the intellects of philosophers and mystics for centuries. Today, few of us have little time for such self-indulgent naval gazing reflections, (!) busy as we are with more important matters such as the price of a house, the latest score in the cricket and the weather for the weekend! And yet many of us often feel an ache in our soul which, when examined, reveals a desire to know the answers to such deep and profoundly significant questions, if perhaps phrased in slightly different ways.

If you do stop to look, to understand, to ‘stand under’ the idea of what it means to live, you may begin to sense all is not what it appears to be, all is not what you have been taught to see, all is not as real as you were led to believe.
